Crash Cover 270 Freestanding Awning - LHS

Welcome to the Crash Cover, our 270 degree freestanding awning. This model is for the left hand side of your vehicle (the passenger side). Let's keep it simple - it provides shade and cover when the sun is out and keeps you dry and covered when it is raining. 

Setting this up is a simple and quick one man job. Slide open the zipper on the transit bag, release the 3 straps holding the folded awning in the transit bag and then simply grab the closest frame arm and walk it out and around to the back of your vehicle. Tension with the ratchet strap. You'll be enjoying those camp vibes in no time!

• Provides 11.5m2 of cover via the 250cm x 250cm dimensions.
• Freestanding model that allows for quick and easy one person set up and pack down.
• Heavy duty alloy swivel hinge system.
• Aluminium box tube frame.
• Heavy duty reinforced mounting brackets.
• 1 inbuilt pivoting telescopic leg pole attached to the frame. It is our recommendation that while this is a freestanding awning that the support leg is always a great idea to use to reduce the stress on all mounting points such as roof racks, canopy tops etc. Always check the weight rating of your mounting points.
• 3 additional support legs are included where extra support might be required.
• 280 gsm polyester cotton canvas. UV protected with a 3000mm PU waterproof rating. 
• 800 gsm PVC transit bag.
• YKK zips on the transit bag.
• Wind rating 25 to 30 kmh.
• Awning has Velcro (LOOP/SOFT SIDE) attached for our wall kits
• The overhead cover uses a 'full flat felled seam' stitch which is then additionally sealed with waterproof tape to provide the perfect barrier to stop water from seeping through the overhead seams. Helpful tip - when you are looking at the range of awnings on the market ask if the seams used on the top where the canvas is joined using this type of stitch.
